The greatest and most important duty (Week 24)

Here I Am! It was a great privilege to serve the lord and the people.

I am grateful for the past weeks I had learned here in the mission field because everyday is a learning opportunity. I feel the hastening of the work of salvation through Missionary Work. This is the time to press forward with more enthusiasm and frivolity in serving the lord to invite others to come unto him to help them receive his perfect plan for our happiness and everlasting peace in this life and the next life to come. I really love to share my testimony about our savior Jesus Christ and his love for us (John 14:6). I know that Heavenly Father love us so much (John 3:16). 

Past weeks (tag-ceb-eng)

Daghang nahitabo itong mga linggo na lumipas sobrang bilis ng time pero daghan na ang akong nakatun-an ug na-experience dire. I am still here in my first area in Carmen Ward, CDO Central Zone di na ako mabaligya kay tungod kabalo na ko mag bisaya haha bisan naa pa pud mga lalum na lisod isabton pero paningkamutan gyud para kasabot og maayo hehehe. Gusto ko din i-share noong time na nag Community Service Project kami sa backyard ni Tatay Herbacio sobrang saya magbunot ng mga ligaw na damo at ibato ang mga bato haha! di ko talaga makakalimutan yung mga tao na napapasaya namin tungod inaning service kauban ang tibuok na Carmen District Missionaries at mga members sa ward gihapon. Nakakatuwa talagang isipin at ibalik yung mga memories ng mga last cycles with other missionaries every transfer day may umaalis at may papalit. Ngayon 4th Cycle ko dito sa mission field with my new companion a New Missionary. I am grateful to the opportunity to be a trainer of Elder Aliangan from Zamboanga City the time flies so fast! I remember the time when my 12 weeks training in the field was started but now I am a trainer it is really challenging. I know that my responsibility to train a new missionary is a sacred trust from the lord. Sobrang bilis ng cycle na to malapit na ang transfer day this 15th of July. Ang dami ko pang gusto i-share pero di ko na masabi lahat basta isa lang ang masasabi ko: ''I really enjoying to serve the lord and preach his gospel to all people.''

Past weeks, Start of 3rd Cycle :)

BIRTHDAY

Sobrang saya ko nung April 13, 2015 kasi unexpected ang surprise birthday celebration ng CDO Central Zone Missionaries para sakin. At the same time kasi Zone Gathering namin yun tapos di ko sinabi na birthday ko kaya alam ko walang babati sa akin pero totoo nga walang bumabati sakin kahit isa and then noong nag team building na kami doon na pala nila ko i-susurprise. Nakakatuwa lang talaga kahit di ko kasama family ko ngayon naramdaman ko pa din yung saya. I never forget that surprise birthday celebration. I am thankful to have this missionaries because of them I feel that I am not alone on my birthday.

DISTRICT GATHERING

The Carmen District was awesome! At last we already had visit the Macahambus Cave last April 20, 2015. Ito yung last  district gathering namin sa Carmen with Elder Cailipan, Sister De Guzman and Sister Pacardo because on April 22 they will be transfer in other area. Nakakalungkot nanaman kasi may ma-ttransfer na ulit pero may darating na bagong ka-district so start na ang 3rd Cycle ko dito sa Mission Field. 

Exchanges with Elder Nalos (Zone Leader) 

I am really grateful to work with our Zone leader because I learned a lot during our exchanges. We enjoy to help our area to progress and some of what I've learned to him is the way he build the trust of the people and his sense of humor. I know that God's prepared the people to accept us that we may help them to received the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives.

12 weeks training is over!

I just finished my training here in mission field. Ang bilis talaga ng panahon junior na ako ngayon hehehe. Pasalamat ko talaga sa follow-up trainor ko kasi tinulungan nya ako mag-improve dito sa mission marami akong natutunan at na-experience na di ko makakalimutan sa buhay ko. I am enjoying to serve the lord and the people I really feel the love of our God to do hasten this work of salvation. I will strive to do my very best to invite others to come unto christ and help them received the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and Enduring to the end.

Zone Conference with CDO East Zone

We had our very nice training of our beloved President Bulseco and his assistants to the mission president. This was my first zone conference here in the mission field and I am grateful for what I have learned last May 1, 2015, Friday. It talks about our calling as full-time missionaries that reminds us for our purpose to move our feet (D&C 88:124), to open our mouths (D&C 28:16) and to obey mission rules (D&C 42:29). And I heard the testimonies of home bound missionaries that makes me inspire to serve with all my heart, mind, might and strength.

Hope on, Journey on. (Week 8)

Well... Life is going by way too fast. It's almost 2 months when I was arrived in the mission field here in PCDOM. 

I love being missionary!

This is 2nd cycle of my mission. Halos 2 weeks after the transfer day pero enjoy talaga lalo na ngayon because we have our baptism of Sister Purita Morales last March 28, 2015. Sobra ko saya na nabinyagan na si nanay at natanggap nya ang ebanghelyo ni Jesus Christ sa kanyang buhay. Natandaan ko pa noong first time na na-meet namin sya ni Elder Belen(1st companion) while tracting kami sa Xavier Ecoville. At dahil sa word na ''POHON'' nakausap namin si nanay para magpakilala sa kaniya. Although noong time na yun nahihirapan pa ako mag Cebuano pero strive pa din makapagsalita sa bisaya. Sobrang bait niya talaga sa amin parang tinuturing nya kaming mga anak ang tawag namin sa kanya Nanay Gingging lagi din kaming hinahandaan ng pagkain everytime na mag-visit kami sa kanila. Nakakatuwa lang talaga dahil nakita ko kay Naynay Gingging yung willingness niya to follow the example of Jesus Christ.

District Gathering (Week 5)

It's P-DAY! Our district gathering at clubhouse. We had a bonding time to strength the missionaries in our district. Mababait ang mga missionaries na ito meron na akong mga new eternal friends lol. Mag 2 months na ako sa mission ang bilis ng panahon matatapos na ang first cycle ko. I am so grateful sa first area ko marami akong experiences na hindi ko malilimutan sa buhay ko ang pag aakyat kami sa bundok para maibahagi ang ebanghelyo ni Jesus Kristo. This week transfer day na malipat na si Elder Belen meron na akong bagong companion as a follow-up trainer na si Elder Conti.
